Koenigsegg CCXR Special Edition

The Swedish producer gave publicity the first CGI images with the new car of 1018 hp capable to put in difficulty another supercar of 1000 hp, Bugatti Veryon. Terms like supercar and ecology appear many times in conflictual contexts. But Koenigsegg bought them together to realize a supercar capable to run with ethanol (85 % ethanol, 15 % gas)

The car is a special version of the model CCXR. It body is made of carbon fiber and the roof can be left down. The engine is a V8 realized from aluminum with 4 vents per cylinder and has a capacity of 4700 cc. Compression ratio is 8:2:1 and the fill up is made through a multipoint system of injection. It’s centrifugal compressors named Rotrex assure 1.5 bar of extra pressure. The car can work with gas but in can handle too biofuel (E85) which reduces the temperature from the burning process and in the same time it increases the performances because the big octane number. This characteristics allow the engine to grow 1018 Bhp at 7200 rpm with a maximum torque of 1060 Nm (720 ftlb) at 6100 rpm. This car has an impressive acceleration it can touch in just 2.9 seconds 100 km/h, it stays excellent too at the chapter of maximum speed over 400 km/h. It need 31 meters to stop from the 100 km/h to 0 km/h. It’s consumption is 18 l per 100 km in the highway and 22 l per 100km combined. This car has all spices of a true supercar but it’s price is too fancy for now..
